Gary Lineker: I don't regret pledging to present Match of the Day in my underwear
Gary Lineker has said he has no regrets about vowing to host Match of the Day in his underwear following Leicester City's historic title victory.
The former Leicester City striker made the pledge on Twitter in December, when he said he felt there would be "zero chance" of him having to honour it.
However, Leicester City beat the 5,000-1 odds to claim the Premier League title.
"Do I regret the tweet? No I don't, because it's been quite fun," Lineker told the BBC's Dan Walker.
"I did the tweet knowing categorically that there was zero chance of Leicester continuing on the line they were going to win the league. I was spectacularly wrong, but I am so glad I was."
Lineker made 194 appearances for Leicester during his playing career and scored 95 goals.
