Stone Roses to release first new music in more than 20 years

The Stone Roses are to release their first new music in more than 20 years on Thursday evening.

The Manchester band's Twitter account posted a message revealing the new track would be released at 8pm.

The band, which reformed in 2011 after splitting in 1996, will play a series of gigs this summer, including four shows at Manchester's Ethiad Stadium.
