Nigel Farage: EU referendum debate without Ukip is 'quite ridiculous'
Ukip has not been invited to take part in any televised debate about Britain's EU referendum, party leader Nigel Farage has revealed.
Speaking on The Agenda with Tom Bradby, aired on ITV tonight, Mr Farage said a debate on the topic without representation from his party would "look quite ridiculous".
A number of televised debates are planned ahead of the 23 June referendum, but there are questions over the format as David Cameron has yet to agree to participate.
It is thought the he might concede to join a Question Time-style debate on the subject.

Speaking on The Agenda, Mr Farage said the prime minister would have to take part in a debate.
Mr Farage said: "I think he's got to ... I would happily debate him."
But asked if he had had an invitation he said he had not, adding: "If we have a debate and Ukip were excluded that frankly would look quite ridiculous."
He said he would continue to campaign to leave Europe if the Leave campaign lost the referendum.
And asked about whether a vote for Brexit would put him out of a job he responded: "I am the turkey that will vote for Christmas!"
Mr Farage also had a message for Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, whose party is embroiled in a row over anti-semitism.
Mr Farage said he was "prepared to reach out across traditional barriers in politics to help Mr Corbyn sort the whole problem", holding up a picture of himself handing Mr Corybn a rifle.
