The White House has released official photos of President Obama's trip to the UK, where he lent his support to the Remain campaign ahead of the EU referendum.

His flying visit to the UK saw him lunch with the Queen, play golf with the Prime Minister, and watch actors perform Hamlet in the Globe theatre.

Pete Souza, the official White House photographer, was on hand to capture the unguarded moments behind the scenes.
