Pub offers to 'rescue' women from bad Tinder dates
Online dating comes with its risks - but not in a pub in St Albans it seems.
A sign in the Brickyard bar promises to get women out of bad Tinder dates, and even call them a cab if needed.
Staff initially put the notice up in the women's loo but it has since gone viral and made headlines around the world.
It says:
The sign, which only went up last week, adds customers safety and happiness is their highest priority.
"It anyone is bothering you or making you feel uncomfortable please tell us.
"We will discreetly move them away, and if necessary ask them to leave.
"The Brickyard is safe and fun, we want you to enjoy your time here. Talk to us and we'll sort it out :)"
Since going viral, the pub owners say they have now installed the same sign in the gents loo in case they find themselves in the same situation.
Owner James Hanning told The Sun he thinks more pubs should follow their lead.
"I think people of both genders would like to see this in all hospitality venues. I think it would be a really good thing."
