Ohio family shooting: What we know so far
US authorities are searching for a gunman who killed eight members of one family in Pike County in Ohio in what police describe as an "execution-style" killing.
Here is what we know so far:
Seven adults and a 16-year-old boy were found dead from gunshot wounds to the head.
Deputies from the Pike County sheriff''s office found the bodies in four separate locations with several miles between each of the crime scenes.
The crime scenes are within 30 miles of each other.
Those killed are all members of the Rhoden family, prompting the authorities to assign officers to protect other members of the family.
Three children - a three-year-old, a six-month-old and four-day-old - survived the massacre and were removed from the homes.
One of the victims, a mother, was found killed in her bed, with her four-day-old lying next to her.
Police warn the killer or killers are still at large.
