German carmakers to recall vehicles over emissions
German car manufacturers have recalled 630,000 vehicles to fix diesel emissions software in the wake of the Volkswagen scandal.
The Audi, Mercedes, Opel, Porsche and Volkswagen cars will have theor engine management systems fixed as part of an effort to reduce health-threatening nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
VW admitted last year to rigging car emissions tests.
As many as 11 million cars were affected worldwide.
