Chelsea set to make more bids for Everton star

Chelsea will target Everton defender John Stones once again this summer despite a dramatic dip in his form in recent months.

The England international was the subject of a number of bids last year but the Toffees resisted them all.

New boss Antonio Conte has made Stones one of his key targets and is unwilling to let him slip through Chelsea's fingers again.

Jose Mourinho believed Stones could be the long-term successor to John Terry and his potential arrival would further put into question the future of Chelsea's captain.
