John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcome 'new love' baby Luna into the world

Singer John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen have celebrated the birth of their first child, baby Luna, by announcing to fans that their "new love" has arrived.

Sharing the news of their baby girl's birth on social media the happy couple revealed they had chosen to call their daughter Luna Simone Stephens.

Legend posted on Twitter that the pair "couldn't be happier" following the birth.

New mum Teigen added in an Instagram post that her and her husband were "so in love" with the newborn.

Although the couple are yet to share a picture of little Luna they have revealed that she was born weighing 6lb 11oz on Thursday.
