Sir Bruce Forsyth 'unlikely' to attend Ronnie Corbett's funeral
Sir Bruce Forsyth is 'unlikely' to be able to attend the funeral of Ronnie Corbettbecause he has not recovered from surgery following a fall at his home last October, his manager has said.
The veteran entertainer is recuperating after a keyhole operation and is taking longer to heal than hoped.
Ian Wilson added: "I suspect he won't go because he is still convalescing."
Sir Bruce, 88, suffered a fall which caused a swelling of the main blood vessel from his heart that required surgery.
Corbett is due to be laid to rest on Monday at a private funeral in south east London at St John the Evangelist Church, Shirley, followed by a short service at Croydon Crematorium.
The comedian's daughters is expected to pay tribute and a wake will follow at Addington Golf Club.
At the time of Corbett's death Sir Bruce said: "I have lost a close and very dear friend and we have all lost one of the greatest comedians and entertainers this country has known."
