Vogue's Anna Wintour under fire over 'migrant chic' comments

Vogue's editor-in-chief sparked controversy when she described a fashion show by Kanye West as "migrant chic".

The British fashion journalist was describing West's show in Madison Square Garden in New York where he launched his album, The Life of Pablo, and his latest adidas 'Yeezy' fashion line.

Speaking with Seth Meyers on his Late Night show, she said she arrived early and was "waiting for The Kardashians to arrive en masse and Jay-Z..."

"So eventually they did turn up and The Life Of Pablo concert started and the migrant chic fashion show started and they were both wonderful," she said.

Social media users expressed their outrage describing her comments as "beyond acceptable" and "insensitive".
