Young girl among three seriously injured after crash outside school
Three people - including a 12-year-old girl - are in potentially life-threatening conditions after a pile-up outside a school.
Emergency services were called to a four-vehicle collision outside Port Regis School, near Shaftesbury in Dorset, at 8.35am on Wednesday.
Police said the girl, a 40-year-old woman and a man had been taken to Southampton General Hospital in potentially life-threatening conditions.
A second 12-year-old girl also suffered serious injuries, while one person sustained minor injuries.
The road where the collision happened has been closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
