Brussels terror group 'intended to strike Paris'

Terrorists who carried out the Brussels bombings had originally intended to attack Paris, Belgian prosecutors said.

But the group was forced to change its plans and target the Belgian capital because of the "speed" of France's police investigation.

"Numerous elements in the investigation have shown that theterrorist group initially had the intention to strike in Franceagain", Belgium's federal prosecutor said on Sunday.
