Reporter loses her composure after parrot lands on her shoulder moments before broadcast
A reporter has shown that even professionals can get in a flap when something goes wrong at work - shrieking and screaming as a rogue parrot decided to come in to land on her shoulder moments before she went on air.
Nine News' Brittney Kleyn did not react well to the unexpected intruder, forgetting that she was about to be broadcast and letting lose a swear word before shrieking at the cameraman to "get it off me".
The whole hilarious moment was caught on camera by her team and since it has been shared online Kleyn has become a viral hit.
As the brightly coloured bird landed on her outside court, Kleyn screamed: "I can't get it off me, oh my god, oh my god, can you please get it off me its not funny!"
Since the video went viral the cheeky screenstealer has been named as Lola an 18-month-old Sun Conure who had flown away from home the night before and has been reunited with her owner who spotted her TV appearance.
A now much calmer Kleyn has also recovered from the ordeal and even joked that she and the bird were "now besties".
