Stoke goalkeeper Butland knows Euros dream is over

Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland accepts his Euro 2016 dreams are over after fracturing his ankle in the 3-2 win over Germany.

The 23-year-old England international suffered the injury just before conceding in the game played in Berlin on Saturday night.

As the tournament is only ten weeks, Butland does not have enough time to recover in order to make himself available for selection.
