Prince Harry has thrown his support behind ending Nepal's fight to end child marriages.

Addressing the Nepal Girl Summit during his five-day tour of the country, Harry spoke out about the practice alongside the nation's first female president, Bidya Devi Bhandari.

The Royal made his speech at the summit in Kathmandu, where experts, community leaders and women are all meeting.

He added: "When girls finish their schooling, they gain skills, knowledge and confidence - in short; they are empowered to improve their lives and the lives of everyone around them".
