Great-grandad set to become world's oldest person to get a tattoo at age 104

A great-grandad is set to become the oldest person in the world to get a tattoo - at the ripe old age of 104.

If he goes through with it on April 6, Jack Reynolds will break the Guinness World Record - and it won't be the first time he has made it into the record books.

In 2014, he became the oldest person to do the Ice Bucket Challenge - but this year he wants to better that.

He hasn't revealed what ink he'll be getting, only where.

"On my bum. I'd prefer to see it on my arm, but I've got skinny arms. I've got weights to try and make them bigger, but we'll see," he told Good Morning Britain.

Asked what his 21 great-grandchildren think about it, he said: "They think I'm bonkers. I've been bonkers for years."

He added his secret to a long life was exercise, fresh air - and a shot of Whiskey in the morning and in the evening.

And the silver surfer keeps up-to-date with what's going on through his iPad.

Jack said he wasn't worried about the tattoo hurting and said: "I'm a big strong lad - and I've have plenty of needles in me in my time, in various places."
