Indian girl, 15, dies after being raped and set on fire
A 15-year-old girl who was raped and set on fire has died in hospital, police in India say.
The teenager suffered burns to 95% of her body when she was attacked in a village near New Delhi on Monday.
She died of her injuries early on Wednesday.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with rape and murder.
The victim's family alleged that the man had been stalking her for several months.
Her father had reported him to police, who subsequently issued him with a warning, according to the Associated Press.
India has seen a wave of public protests over the treatment of women in recent years after the brutal gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman aboard a New Delhi bus in 2013.
