Family pay tribute to ex-Royal Navy sailor killed in Vietnam waterfalls accident
An ex-Royal Navy sailor who died whilst climbing waterfalls in Vietnam was one of "life's one offs," his family have said.
Christian Sloan, 24, from Deal, Kent, died along sisters Beth Anderson, 24, and Isobel Mackensie Squire, 19, from Sheffield, at the Datanla waterfalls in Lam Dong province on 26 February.

The family said that he had followed his sister into the Royal Navy in 2008, serving as a marine engineer mechanic aboard HMS Illustrious and HMS Edinburgh.
A career highlight was being selected to represent HMS Sultan on its navy field gun team, they said.
After the navy, he worked as a shift coordinator at DFDS Seaways at Dover's Eastern Docks, where colleagues sent off Chinese lanterns on Monday in his memory.
