Incredible video shows UK and Europe at night - as seen from the International Space Station

Stunning images showing nighttime views of the United Kingdom and Europe from space have been shared by British astronaut Tim Peake.

Peake has been on the International Space Station since December and regularly posts pictures and video of his incredible views of the Earth below to social media.

Bright spots show the lights of towns and cities across the countries, with the biggest and brightest clearly showing where capital cities such as London and Paris are situated.
