Ed Sheeran's 'Grammys parents' are not his parents

Ed Sheeran had a night to remember at the Grammys, taking home the Song of the Year award and the Best Pop Solo Performance.

The Thinking Out Loud singer took to the stage to receive his award, graciously thanking his record company, the Grammy voters, his manager and of course, his parents.

As he told the crowd his parents had flown out each year he's been nominated but missed out on Grammy wins in the past, the camera panned to a proud looking, smiling couple.

ITV News has however been informed this was not Mr and Mrs Sheeran.
