The Jump: Channel 4 launches 'urgent safety review' after number of injuries
Sports reality show The Jump is reportedly set to undergo an urgent safety review.
It comes after Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle became the third star to be hospitalised in this year's competition.
Channel 4 has only aired two episodes of the show's third season so far.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 told the BBC producers had been asked to look into the show's safety "in light of the number of injuries".
According to her family Tweddle had to undergo surgery to fuse together two fractured vertebrae in her neck after crashing into a barrier while trying to land a ski jump.
Fellow Olympian Rebecca Adlington and Holby City actress Tina Hobley have also been hospitalised during this year's competition - one with a dislocated shoulder and the other after being badly injured in the ski-jump landing area.
