A stormy start to the new working week with disruption travel likely
Outbreaks of rain will continue to move eastwards across the UK this evening, clearing into the North Sea overnight with scattered blustery showers to follow in from the west. A windy night ahead with gales developing in the south and west.Tomorrow the gales will extend across southern parts of England and Wales, with winds gusting between 60 to 70 mph. Across southern coastal counties, gusts could reach 80 mph with the potential for some disruption to travel, damage to trees/structures and power supplies.
