Chris Martin does an uncanny Mick Jagger in Carpool Karaoke

Chris Martin showed he was the quite the impressionist as he pulled off an uncanny Mick Jagger in James Corden's Carpool Karaoke.

The Coldplay frontman was roped into doing it when said he loved going to see The Rolling Stones.

Corden said: "Say that as Mick Jagger", to which Martin put his best pout on and declared his love for the rock legends again.

With his top lip curled up, Martin continued: "I love them, I love going to see them anywhere."

He added: "There's only one secret [to the impression] which is you have to go from high to low."

Launching into Jagger again, he joked: "It's like a massive tidal wave when you start and then coming down quite slow for the end."

The singer also did an impression of another of his hero's Bruce Springsteen.

Corden told Martin he "gave good chat" between songs such as "is there anybody out there?".

But Martin revealed it wasn't all him. "I nicked that from Bruce Springsteen."

The pair appeared in the latest installment of Corden's Carpool Karaoke for The Late Late Show.

At the start Corden picks Martin up as he tries to 'hitchhike' his way to the Super Bowl, where he will be performing on February 7.

Martin said his daughter Apple asked him if he was nervous about it, to which he replied: "A little."

She then offered the wise words: "Dad, the worst that could happen is you'll get turned into a meme, and after a month or so people will just forget."
