Tennis player Arina Rodionova will have a busy Saturday when she embarks on qualification for the Australian Open in the morning and then gets married in the afternoon.

World No.309 will need to get through two rounds before getting to the full draw for the tournament which begins on January 18.

The Russian-born Australian was due to play on Saturday afternoon against Storm Sanders but due to the clash with her wedding to Aussie Rules footballer Ty Vickery, tournament organisers moved it to early in the day.

"Obviously the preparations for the wedding should start in the morning. Hair and make-up will be fine to skip, but the wedding, that will be tougher," Rodionova told the Sydney Morning Herald.

"I don't think brides should be very drunk at the wedding," Radionova explained.

"That's not a good look, so I'm definitely not going to be having more than three. It should be good."
