England to face Wales at European Championships

Roy Hodgson's England were drawn in Group B for Euro 2016 where they will face face Wales in France.

The two nations will face each on June 16 at Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens. England and Wales are joined in the group by Slovakia and Russia.

England's opening game will be against Russia on June 11 at Marseille's Stade Velodrome with their final group clash coming against Slovakia on June 20 in St Etienne.

Northern Ireland's first inclusion in the competition will see them play Poland, Ukraine and Germany in Group D.

Northern Ireland open their first-ever European Championship campaign against Poland in Nice on June 12.

They then head to Lyon to face Ukraine on June 16 before finishing their Group C campaign against Germany at the Parc de Princes in Paris on June 21.

The Republic of Ireland have been handed a huge task and start their Group E bid against Sweden in the Stade de France on June 13.

Martin O'Neill's side travel to Bordeaux to face Belgium on June 18 and finish the group stage against Italy in the Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille.

Group C: Germany, Northern Ireland, Poland, Ukraine

Group D: Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic, Croatia

Group E: Belgium, Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Italy
