Walking Dead star Norman Reedus bitten by fan at zombie convention

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has made a bizarre request to his legion of fans: stop biting him.

Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon in the zombie apocalypse drama, was reportedly bitten on the chest by a female fan at a convention last weekend.

And although he declined to press charges against the over-exuberant woman, the incident prompted Reedus to post a photo of himself wearing a t-shirt with the slogan "Do not bite me" with the caption "Um please don't."

A female fan claimed responsibility for the biting attack on Instagram, saying she did not know "what came over me".

She was immediately removed from the event and has since been banned from future conventions, according to TMZ.

But she has achieved something that no zombie has been able to do in six seasons of the AMC drama.
