Thousands turn up for first Gary Neville training session at Valencia
New Valencia head coach Gary Neville's charm offensive in the Spanish city seems to be working after thousands of fans watched an open training session on Monday night.
The former Manchester United defender, who has taken charge of the La Liga side until the end of the season, welcomed supporters to the club's training ground for the event in the aftermath of his arrival.
Neville was joined on the training pitch by his brother Phil, who is also a coach at the Mestalla.
Almost 3000 locals attended the session as Neville put his players through their paces for the first time since taking over.
Neville first game in charge will come in the Champions League on Wednesday when his Valencia team face Lyon in their final group game.
