The Hold: Doctor reveals trick to stop baby crying every time

Every parent could do with a little help in getting their baby to stop crying sometimes.

And now an American doctor claims to have the answer to their prayers - and is sharing his technique to do just that.

Dubbed 'The Hold', Dr Robert C Hamilton claims his trick works every time.

And here's how you do it:

HOW TO DO 'THE HOLD'

  • Secure arms gently with one hand

Dr Hamilton said parents can "shake their baby's little booty" or move them in a stirring motion until they settle.

A post demonstrating the technique has now been viewed on his YouTube channel more than 1 million times in just two days.

But the sad news is 'The Hold' will only work until a baby is around three months old as after that they generally become too heavy.
