Charlie Sheen to make 'revealing personal announcement' on live TV
Actor Charlie Sheen is to make a 'revealing personal announcement' in a live TV interview on Tuesday, the US network NBC said.
In a brief post on its website, the network said Sheen will appear on the Today show to be interviewed by Matt Lauer.
The actor, 50, has been largely out of the public eye in the last year. His last TV appearance was in 2014, in the show Anger Management.
Sheen has battled alcohol and drug problems in the past, with his relationships also making headlines.
The Two and A Half Men star has been married three times and has five children.
His first marriage was to Paula Profit, his high school sweetheart, and his second to former Bond girl Denise Richards.
Richards and Sheen have two daughters together. The couple finalised their divorce in November 2006.
In 2008, Sheen got married for the third time, to Brooke Mueller, with whom he has twin sons.
He announced his engagement to adult film star Scottine Ross last year, but it was called off after a few months.
