The first victims have been identified

Victims from more than a dozen countries are among the first to be identified after gunmen stormed the streets of Paris, killing at least 129 people.

The death toll is expected to rise in the coming days as 350 others were injured - 99 of whom are still in a critical condition.

People from France, Britain, the USA, Germany, Chile, Mexico, Algeria, Belgium, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and Tunisia were all reportedly among the dead.

So far, 103 of the victims have been identified, including:

  • Nick Alexander, England

The 36-year-old, from Colchester, Essex, was selling band merchandise for the Eagles of Death Metal at the Bataclan.

In a statement, his family described him as "everyone's best friend - generous, funny and fiercely loyal".

"Nick died doing the job he loved and we take great comfort in knowing how much he was cherished by his friends around the world," they added.

  • Marie Mosser, France

Marie Mosser, 24, was one of three employees from Mercury Records, part of Universal Music France, who died at the Bataclan.

Tributes on social media said she helped promote artists such as Taylor Swift.

"You will never ever be forgotten. We are thinking of her family and friends in this difficult time," a post from Taylor Swift Videos said.

  • Thomas Ayad, France

Ms Mosser's colleague Thomas Ayad was a producer manager for Mercury Music Group, and a keen hockey fan in his hometown of Amiens.

In a note to Mercury employees, Lucian Grainge - chairman of Universal Music Group, which owns Mercury - said the loss was "an unspeakably appalling tragedy".

Singer Imelda May also posted this tribute to the 32-year-old, who was part of her record company in France, after hearing he was one of the victims.

  • Manu Perez, France

Another Mercury Records employee Manu Perez also died at the Bataclan after attending the concert with his girlfriend Precilia Correia.

Before the gig he posted a photo of his ticket on Facebook with the words "thank you Thomas".

He later posted a picture of what appears to the band Eagles of Death Metal on stage at 9pm, shortly before the gunmen attacked.

  • Asta Diakite, France

French international footballer Lassana Diarra confirmed that his cousin, Asta Diakite had been killed in the attacks.

In a tribute, the Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder said: "She was like a big sister to me.

"In this climate of terror, it is important for us all to remain united against a horror that has no colour, no religion."

  • Marie Lausch and her boyfriend Mathias Dymarski, France

Marie Lausch, 23, and her boyfriend Mathias Dymarski, 22, were at the Bataclan.

Marie had only recently moved to Paris, according to her Facebook page and worked in public relations at Coty, a beauty manufactuter.

Friends posted desperate messages on social media to try and find out if they had survived.

But Clara R later said on Twitter: "The search is finished, I have no words, only tears. Marie and Mathias left us both."

Elodie Breuil is said to have been a 23-year-old French design student at the Ecole de Conde.

Posts on social media say she was with a group of friends at the Bataclan when she was killed.

She is said to have participated in marches following the terror attacks on the Charlie Hebdo building earlier this year.

A lawyer at the Paris office of law firm Hogan Lovells, Mr Ribet, 26, was a former law student at the London School of Economics.

His law firm said he worked on the litigation team, specialising in white collar crime.

"He was a talented lawyer, extremely well liked, and a wonderful personality in the office," the firm said.

"This is an awful tragedy and hard for any of us to truly comprehend."He too was killed at the Bataclan.

According to Facebook posts from grieving friends, 41-year-old Ms Houd had worked for prestigious Paris fashion house Isabel Marant.

The newspaper for her hometown of Dreux, L'Echo Republicain, said she was in a café on the rue de Charrone when she was shot down.

  • Guillame Decherf, France

A writer who covered rock music for French culture magazine Les Inrocks, the 43-year-old father-of-two was at the Bataclan watching Eagles of Death Metal.

He had written excitedly just two weeks before about the band's latest album.

The paper said it was "shocked" by his death, and said staff were in mourning.

"Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones," a statement added.

  • Pierre Innocenti and Stephane Albertini, France

Restauranteurs Pierre Innocenti and Stephane Albertini died at the Bataclan.

The pair owned Chez Livio, famous for the "best pizza in Paris", and often frequented by celebrities in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

Mr Bean actress Emma de Caunes posted a tribute to her "two very old friends" on Instagram.

She said: "We used to play music together when we were 15, wonderful joyful dudes who loved music more than anything.

"Even though we weren't that close anymore, they'll always stay in my heart."

  • Matthieu Giroud, France

Matthieu Giroud was a senior geography lecturer at the University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée who was at the Bataclan.

His friend Xabi Molia confirmed his death on Facebook saying: "He had an appetite for everything, even hard rock.

"Like a bad scenario, a badly written script, these fools went on to kill the most solar of our friends."

Later a tribute page to Mr Giroud on Facebook said: "His memory remains forever in our hearts".

French newspaper Le Dauphinereported more than 800 people attended a memorial service for him on Sunday.

A father of a six-year-old child, the 38-year-old was a technician at the France24 news channel, and was gunned down at the Bataclan.

A friend, Antoine Rousseay, has tweeted about how passionately Mr Hoche loved rock and roll, while others posted tributes.

  • Lola Salines, France

Lola Salines was at the Bataclan when she was killed.

Her father Georges tweeted a picture of her while desperately searching for news but later confirmed he had found out that she had died.

Lola was a roller derby player with La Boucherie de Paris who said they were "devastated" at their loss.

Friends of hers now plan to do a run in her memory and have been using the hashtag #runforlola on social media.

  • Alberto Gonzalez Garrido, France/Spain

Originally from Madrid, Spain, 29-year-old Mr Garrido died at the Bataclan.

He was an engineer for Spanish state broadcaster TVE, who was living in France with his wife, also an engineer.

They were both at the concert, but reportedly became separated in the confusion.

  • Victor Munoz, France/Spain

A business student, the 24-year-old from Barcelona, Spain, was at the La Belle Equipe cafe in rue de Charonne when he was killed.

His friend, Laura Deffis, told ITV News they grew up together as her parents and his were best friends.

"He was like a brother to me," she said.

"He was the most kind guy, and had lots of friends. He was also really determined - he knew what he wanted to do in life. He was just a lovely guy."

The 23-year-old, from El Monte, California, was a student at California State University in Long Beach.

She was in the midst of a university exchange programme, attending Strate College of Design in Paris.

She was with another student at the Petit Cambodge restaurant when she was shot and killed.

A university spokesman described her as "buoyant" and "extremely energetic", while her mother, Beatrice Gonzalez, said her daughter was "very adventurous" and "giving".

"She was a beautiful person," she added.

  • Luis Felipe Zschoche Valle, Chile/France

Chile's foreign ministry has confirmed the death of Mr Valle, aged 33.

It said he had been living in Paris for eight years with his French wife, and was killed at the Bataclan.

His friend Marco Canto posted this picture on Twitter with the words: "My friend. Your guitar sounds forever."

  • Patricia San Martin Nunez and Elsa Veronique Delplace San Martin, Chile/France

Chilean exile Nunez, aged 61, was killed with her daughter Elsa, aged 35, who had been born in France.

They were described as the niece and grandniece of Chile's ambassador to Mexico, Ricardo Nunez, and were killed at the Bataclan.

Elsa had a six-year-old son, her friend Sihem Souid said on Twitter as she posted this picture of them together with the words 'rest in peace'.
