Dave Phillips: Man charged with assisting offender following alleged murder of police officer

A man has been charged in connection with the alleged murder of PC Dave Phillips.

Glen Nicholas Campbell Jones, 39, of Wheatland Lane, Wallasey, is accused of assisting an offender following PC Phillips' death on Monday 5 October.

He will appear before South Sefton Magistrates Court on Saturday.
