UK falls silent on Armistice Day to remember nation's war dead

Video report by ITV News Correspondent Paul Davies

Britain has fallen silent to remember the nation's war dead.

A two-minute silence was held across the country at 11am - to mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month when World War One finally came to an end in 1918.

Armistice Day services were held at military bases, schools and in town centres, while veterans also attended the Cenotaph in central London.
