Coldplay reveal new album will be their last
Coldplay have revealed their new album will be their last.
A Head Full of Dreams, which is out on December 4, is the band's seventh studio album.
The first single from it, Adventure Of A Lifetime, was released today, getting its first play on BBC Radio 1 and 2.
Speaking to BBC breakfast host Nick Grimshaw, frontman Chris Martin said the new album was the "completion of something".
The band also hinted they may be making a headline appearance at Glastonbury.
Martin said: "We'd love to do it. That's our spiritual home as a band. Maybe we should have called ahead and asked them."
The latest album features guest appearances from Beyonce and Noel Gallagher.
All of Coldplay's previous albums have gone to number one in the UK.
Their last album, Ghost Stories, was the fourth-best selling of 2014 sold shifting 3.7 million copies worldwide. It also won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.
