Adele says she has 'regrets' about working with Blur's Damon Albarn
Adele has said she regrets working with her 'idol' Damon Albarn after the pair tried to work together on her new album, 25.
Blur's Albarn had previously described Adele's album as "middle of the road" and said that the singer was "insecure".
He said in September that the sessions had not been successful and that the collaboration did not end well.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Adele confirmed this by revealing that the pair did not manage to finish one song together during studio sessions last year.
Albarn said in an interview in September that he took time out for the 27-year-old singer, but commented that he did not think that she would use any of the material.
“The thing is, she’s very insecure. And she doesn’t need to be, she’s still so young”, he said.
Adele hit back, claiming she was only asking him about advice about surviving in the music industry after having a child, because he is also a parent.
Adele made chart history earlier this week when her single, Hello, became the first song to be downloaded one million times in a week in the US.
Her third album, 25, will be released on 20 November.
