Jeremy Clarkson takes swipe at BBC in ad for Amazon
Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson took a swipe at his former employers the BBC in an ad for Amazon Fire TV.
The controversial presenter, who was sacked from the BBC after assaulting producer Oisin Tymon, appears in the ad riding around a country house on a Segway to the song 'Born to be Wild'.
"Back in the Spring, as you probably remember, I suddenly became unbusy," he said.
Clarkson was sacked from the popular BBC2 show on March 25.
Amazon Prime's video streaming service is due to launch Clarkson's rival to Top Gear next year alongside his regular co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond.
Demonstrating Amazon's TV service, he says that it has "everything you could possibly want" before quickly swiping past BBC iplayer.
The trio began filming for the new show at the beginning of October.
