Nasa astronaut Scott Kelly breaks US spaceflight record
Commander Scott Kelly has broken the record for the longest spaceflight of any US astronaut.
The retired US Navy fighter pilot has spent the last 216 days in orbit aboard the International Space Station - and it is planned he will remain there until March 2016.
Commander Kelly, together with his identical twin brother Mark, is part of Nasa's Twins Study, which will examine how Scott's brain and body will change compared to his Earth-bound sibling.ITV News Washington Correspondent Robert Moore explains:
