Pupil in hospital after 'serious incident' at Aberdeen school
A male pupil has been taken to hospital after a "serious incident" at a secondary school in Aberdeen.
Officers were sent to Cults Academy in the west of the city at about 1.30pm.
Aberdeen Police confirmed the boy was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with "serious injuries".
A boy has been detained and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police Scotland described the incident as "ongoing" and said officers are still at the scene. They gave no further details at this stage.
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said: "We are aware of a serious incident at Cults Academy today. Police are on site.
"Due to the nature of this incident, we will not be issuing further comment."
