Weather: An increasingly cloudy night ahead

A mostly dry night for much of the UK except for Scotland where outbreaks of rain can be expected before cloudy skies gradually clear overnight.

Across the country it should stay mostly dry but will turn cloudier in the south and west by morning.

Monday will be a cloudier day for many, with the best of the sunshine in the north and northeast while northwestern and far southwestern parts will turn windy with rain arriving as the day progresses.
