Grandparents celebrate 60th anniversary with 'UP' piano duet tribute
A couple celebrated their 60th anniversary by playing a piano duet as Carl and Ellie from Pixar's heartwarming movie, UP.
The 80-year-old grandparents from Utah, USA, dressed up as the film's beloved characters and played a beautiful rendition of the theme song in a piano duet.
Their grandson, pianist Jason Lyle Black, wrote the arrangement for the couple, who have played piano duets since they were first married.
"It was so fun to work with them on it. I’ve loved their piano duets ever since I was a little kid, this will be a family treasure for all of us," said Black on his YouTube page.
Just like the movie, Grandpma and Grandpa Black's video features the tennis-ball zimmer frame, the 'Adventure Book', the family dog and an adorable house.
Black even makes a brief cameo at the end of the video, clad in a 'Wilderness Explorer' uniform just like Russell, the other favorite character from the movie.
Black's grandparents play the melody 'Married Life' that is featured in the heart-wrenching scene at the beginning of the movie telling the story of Carl and Ellie's relationship.
