Lindsay Lohan 'inspired to run for US president in 2020' by Kanye West

Lindsay Lohan may be following in Kanye West's footsteps by announcing that she wants to run for president in 2020.

Writing on her Instagram page, the 29-year-old said: "In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and down #YESWECAN lets do this @kaynewest."

In a second post accompanied by a picture of her talking with Kanye at an event, she wrote: "The first thing I would like to do as president is take care of all the children suffering in the world."

In her posts she thanked Kanye, President Barack Obama and even the Queen of England for inspiring her.
