Jurgen Klopp unveiled as new Liverpool manager
Jurgen Klopp is to be officially unveiled as the new Liverpool FC manager.
This live conference is now over.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach signed a three-year-deal with the club last night and will replace Brendan Rodgers who was sacked at the weekend after three-years at the club's helm.
Speaking on LFCTV Klopp had one message for fans: "We have to change from doubter to believer now."
Klopp, who helped lead his last team to two league titles, also said his "philosophy" when it came to football was "very emotional, very fast and very strong" and he expected his teams to play at "full throttle".
He said: “I am very excited by the challenge we face and eager to start the job."
Former Reds' boss Kenny Dalglish has advised Liverpool supporters to "fasten their seat belts" for life under Klopp.
Dalglish, the last manager to bring the league title to Anfield back in 1990 and a winner of six league titles and three European Cups with the Reds as a player, said: "I just heard Klopp's press conference and he sounds very, very impressive. I think the supporters will need to fasten their seat belts - I'm sure they will really enjoy him.''
