VW tests website for drivers to check if their vehicle is hit by emissions scandal
ITV News has learned that VW is testing a new system to alert drivers whether they are affected by the emissions scandal.
Volkswagen and Audi sites are already being tested on the quiet. Skoda and SEAT will be established soon.
Drivers can check if they are going to be impacted by the biggest crisis in the car maker's long history.

It about time drivers started to get answers to some of the many outstanding questions they have.
You will have to input you vehicles PIN number and will then have to wait to be contacted.
ITV News has been told the sites will not be publicly launched until VW is satisfied that the technology of the websites will work.
The manufactures says: "We have developed a simple ‘self-service’ website, so you can check if your vehicle has been affected. All you need to do is enter the Vehicle Identification Number".
The VIN can usually be found in the front of your service book.
