Corrie live: Audience to get behind the scenes view during the broadcast
Viewers of Coronation Street's hotly anticipated live episode will get behind the scenes glimpse of the show through an online stream.
The hour-long episode, celebrating 60 years of ITV, will be accompanied by a second screen experience, giving audiences the chance to watch what is going on behind the cameras for the first time in the show's 55 year history.
The set has been rigged with 11 hidden cameras have been to allow viewers to see the cast and crew work during the show.
The online stream will be available simultaneously on Facebook and itv.com.
One viewer will have their tweet or Facebook message written on the empty blackboard in the Rovers by the end of the episode, and viewer will be given the chance to choose the music played at Lloyd Mullaney and Andrea Beckett's leaving party by playing along in an interactive poll on Facebook and Twitter.
The episode will see the culmination of Callum's reign of terror over the Platt family, along with Lloyd and Andrea's leaving party in the Rovers Return, Roy Cropper and Cathy Matthews getting closer and Tim Metcalfe finding out about Sally Webster's secret kiss with her ex Kevin.
After the episode, the cast will be interviewed as they come off air and reveal behind-the-scenes secrets in a special show airing on ITV2 at 10pm.
The live episode will be broadcast at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
