Out-of-favour Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli launches 'mohican' boots for children
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has launched his own Puma football boots, complete with his trademark mohican.
The Italian, who is currently out of favour at Anfield, has put his name to the boots which includes his signature.
A mix of blue and white make up the exterior colour of the boots, with a mohican-style piece of material placed on the back.
The boots are only available in children's sizes, which will upset Balotelli adoring adults fans.
In addition to the boots, anyone who buys them from Zalando will receive a free football boasting a similar mohawk addition, which may not aid the roll of the ball.
Balotelli is known for his eccentric nature and the footwear is the latest stunt in a long list of out of the ordinary activities, having previously caused fire damage to a house by setting off fireworks in a bathroom and driving into a women's prison.
It is unlikely that Balotelli will get to wear them in a game for Liverpool as the club are desperate to offload the striker who struggled in his first season with the club.
Balotelli has been linked with a move away from Anfield, but his high wages and unpredictable nature has meant no offers for the striker have been forthcoming.
