Amy Winehouse thought she was pregnant, father says

Tragic singer Amy Winehouse thought she was pregnant before she died, her father has said.

Mitch Winehouse made the revelation on Australian television as he hit out at the makers of a biopic on his tragic daughter.

He said the "frankly criminal" documentary wrongly presented the fallen pop star as a loner, despite her being engaged to British film director Reg Traviss.

Mr Winehouse said he is working with Mr Traviss on a new documentary about his daughter's life after being left angry at the recent Amy film made by director Asif Kapadia.

The singer, famed for songs Rehab and Back To Black, died of alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27 after a public struggle with drink and drugs.
