Is this the Nicest Man in Britain?

When Luke Cameron decided to do a good deed every day for a year, he could never have anticipated how much it would change his life.

The 26 year old made the decision after losing a close friend to cancer.

Luke began writing a Good Deed blog and logged every kind gesture he made on the site, which has amassed thousands of followers.

His acts of kindness included buying a coffee and petrol for people behind him, in the queue, handing out five pound notes to strangers to brighten up their day, and buying food for a homeless man.

Through his blog, Luke was alerted to a competition run by Utility Aid to win ‘The Nicest Job In Britain’. He won and now gets paid to travel the UK assisting 45 different charities, spending a week working at each.

A Dream Home Left in Ruins…

When Radcliffe and Nashreen Ogier bought their bungalow in Birmingham in 2013, they planned to do a full-scale renovation to make the property big enough for them, their three children and an elderly relative to live comfortably in.

They paid a local builder, Scott Devlin, their life savings of £139,000 to carry out the work but have yet to spend a single night in their home after it was left in ruins when Devlin abandoned the job halfway through.

18 months after the job was supposed to have been finished, the roof is gone, plaster is falling off the walls, doors and windows are missing and all of the electrics and plumbing are shot.

Holding back the tears, Lesley tells Ranvir:

Initially, doctors thought Gareth was suffering from depression, but Lesley noticed her son was displaying similar signs to an elderly relative who had dementia in later life. It wasn’t until Gareth underwent CT and MRI scans that doctors were able to accurately diagnose him.

Addressing the professional care that Gareth requires his father says:
