Pierce Brosnan: Former James Bond star stopped at airport after trying to board plane with knife
Actor Pierce Brosnan was stopped by airport security after trying to board a plane with a knife.
The former James Bond star, who was travelling with his son, was stopped at Burlington Airport in Vermont on Sunday after US security agents spotted the blade.
Pictures, which apparently show the incident unfolding, were published by the Daily Mail and the 62-year-old can be seen removing his belt and speaking to staff.
The Irish actor was allowed to continue his journey once the issue was resolved, Lieutenant Shawn Burke said.
Brosnan appeared as James Bond in four films, including GoldenEye and Die Another Day.
He has also starred in The Thomas Crown Affair and Mrs Doubtfire.
