Thirty five women claiming comedian Bill Cosby sexually abused them have been interviewed and photographed by an American magazine.

The women spoke out in New York magazine, with six of them being filmed for the story.

Allegations against 78-year-old Cosby date back to the 1960s.

In the article, actresses, former Playboy bunnies and journalists are among those to describe how they were allegedly drugged, raped or molested by the star.

Cosby denies all the allegations and has not been charged with any crimes. However, it recently emerged he admitted buying sedatives to give to women and paid women after sex to keep his affairs from his wife.

Barbara Bowman, one of the 35 women interviewed, told the magazine: "I felt like a prisoner; I felt I was kidnapped and hiding in plain sight.

"I could have walked down any street of Manhattan at an time and said, 'I'm being raped and drugged by Bill Cosby,' but who the hell would have believed me? Nobody, nobody."

Louisa Moritz, 68, an actress, said in her interview: "I was afraid to tell anybody. I knew who Mr. Cosby was and that prevented me from telling anybody.

"I felt ashamed. I was embarrassed to be me."
