David Cameron will discuss the case of a British grandmother facing execution by firing squad when he holds talks with the Indonesian government.

Lindsay Sandiford was sentenced to death in Bali in January 2013 for drug trafficking.

She was arrested in May 2012 after police found cocaine worth an estimated £1.6 million in the lining of her suitcase when she arrived on the idyllic island.

The 58 year old, from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, admitted the offences but claimed she was coerced by threats to her son's life.

An appeal against her sentence was rejected but she is continuing to fight her case.

The Prime Minister is holding talks with President Joko Widodo as part of a four-day tour of south-east Asia.
